What is Dream Together Scholarship

The Dream Together Scholarship 2024 is currently accepting applications, which aims to educate and prepare future leaders in sport management from around the world. The program offers a degree in sport management at Seoul National University, with the goal of promoting global sport development.

Dream Together Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria

1. To be eligible for admission, the Dream Together Master Scholarship program requires applicants to have previous experience as sport administrators or athletes, and both the applicant and their parents must be of non-Korean nationality.
2. Applicants are required to have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field, as well as sufficient proficiency in both spoken and written English, in order to be able to attend classes that are conducted entirely in English.
3. Passion and potential for sport management are also important factors in the admission process, as the Dream Together Master Scholarship program seeks to educate and develop future leaders in this field.
4. Lastly, applicants must be physically and mentally capable of successfully completing the program, which is intensive and demanding.

Qualifications to apply for Sports Scholarship at SNU

1. The Dream Together Master Scholarship program is open to sport administrators from countries recognized in the List of Official Development Assistance (ODA) Recipients provided by the Development Assistance Committee (DAC). These administrators must work for the government, National Olympic Committees, National Federations, or any other sport organizations under the government.
2. Athletes from ODA recipient countries who have participated in major international sporting events, such as the Olympics, Asian Games, or World Championships, may also be eligible for the scholarship program. These athletes must have a recommendation from government sport organizations or National Olympic Committees.
3. Sport administrators from ODA recipient countries may also apply for the Dream Together Master Scholarship program, provided they have a recommendation from government sport organizations or National Olympic Committees.

Dream Together Scholarship – Required Documents

The following are the application and required documents to be submitted. Please download the 2023 Admission Guideline and other necessary application forms (Forms 0 through 3) from this page. You can also download all the files from here.

Please read the 2023 Admission Guide (with detailed instructions on how to apply) carefully before you apply.

1. Fill out the Application Form (Form 1).
2. Write a Personal Statement and Study Plan (Form 2).
3. Obtain Two Letters of Recommendation (Form 3) from professors and/or employers.
4. Submit an Official Bachelor’s (Undergraduate Studies) Transcript in English.
5. Provide an Official Bachelor’s Certificate of Graduation in English.
6. Submit a copy of the applicant’s passport or other official document indicating the applicant’s nationality.
7. Include copies of both parents’ passport or other official documents indicating their nationality.
8. Provide an official document indicating the parent-child relationship between the applicant and his/her parents, such as an Applicant’s Birth Certificate or Household Register proving the relationship.
9. Show Proof of English Proficiency, such as a score report of a recognized English proficiency test (TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.0, TEPS 298 or higher) or any other official documents indicating proof of English proficiency.
10. Submit a Curriculum Vitae, which must clearly state the applicant’s current and/or previous position and affiliation.
11. Provide a Certificate of Employment (Certificates from current and/or all previous jobs must be submitted).
12. Include Supplementary Material, such as awards, scholarships, proof of language proficiency except English, etc. (Optional).
13. Provide an Explanatory Statement (if applicable).
14. Complete the Checklist (Form 0).
