5 Ways to Beat the Heat during Summer in Seoul

From visiting a water park to camping at the Hangang River, there are plenty of ways to spend Seoul’s sweltering summer months. Unfortunately due to the COVID, Seoul Government has canceled a lot of festivals, but still, if you are in Seoul and want to go out to make some wonderful memories, we have summed up 5 ways to keep you cool during the Summer in Seoul.

1 – Ttukseom Hangang Park

Summer is already here and it’s getting hot day by day. Even though Coronavirus has already ruined our plans of enjoying Summer Festivals like Sinchon Water Gun Festival, there are still various ways to beat the heat in summer.

One of them is going to Hangang Park in Jamsil, in the evening and play games with your friends or skateboarding ? Usually every year, you could see a large swimming pool in this Ttukseom Park but this time, the management has decided to not have the swimming facility open to the public to control the spread of the COVID. But there are still a lot of things to see and enjoy, especially this is a perfect spot for picnic lovers.

It feels so good to go there around evening and spend time while feeling the coolness around both sides of the stream ? There is always some sort of festivals going on at the Cheonggyecheon like Lantern Festival or Christmas Festival. So, it is one of the most instagrammable places in Seoul too.
